About the Journal
The Minna Journal of Educational Studies (MIJES) is a research Journal hosted by School of Education, Languages, Arts and Social Sciences in the Niger State College of Education, Minna. It is an institutional based Journal supported by TETFUND. The MIJES publishes the theoretical and empirical research in the field of Education, Languages, Arts and Social Sciences respectively. It welcomes articles from all works of life within the thematic areas.
The focus of MIJES in Education includes Sociology of Education, Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Special Education, Early Child Care Education, Primary Education, Education Foundation, Planning and Administration etc.
The focus of Languages range from international languages such as English Language, French Language, Arabic language, Literature in English, to traditional African Languages such as Hausa, Nupe, Gbagyi, kambari, , etc.
While the focus of Arts and Social Sciences housed Theology (Christian and Islamic studies), Fine and apply Arts, Geography, Social studies, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology,, Management, etc. It also encapsulates reviews and empirical works within the thematic areas.
