Abstract

This research work is on the effect of drying method on the nutrient content of Moringa oleifera leaves. It covered some specific farms in kadna village in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State. The finding on the effect of drying method on the nutrient content of Moringa oleifera leaves were discussed and analyzed. These findings revealed that drying of Moringa oleifera leaves does make the moringa leaves lose its nutrient content, it only lost its moisture content. The research also provides some useful recommendations based on the findings which include enlightenment on the economic and nutritional importance of the drying and preserving of the Moringa oleifera leaves.
