EDITORIAL FOREWORD
It is a great pleasure to present to you the first edition of the Online Journal of Minna Journal of Science and Technology (MIJOST) supported by TETFund. We are most excited that the Journal is coming at the most critical period when the contribution of science and technology is needed to solve rising global challenges. A period that requires experience sharing in our collective efforts to address the global challenges in education. It is also a period to demonstrate to the global community one of our core values of promoting academic excellence in the attainment of our goals especially in the areas of science and technology.
Therefore, the Journal aims at creating a platform for the publication of scholarly researched and reviewed articles and papers in science and technology. Specifically, the objectives are:
• To provide a platform especially for both staff of academic institutions and researchers from within and outside Nigeria in science and technology to publish their articles and research findings.
• To make scholarly articles and research findings in science and technology available free to the public for knowledge sharing.
The Minna Journal of Science and Technology (MIJOST) covers such areas as sciences and technology. This inaugural issue includes twelve articles/researched papers which covers different areas in science and technology. All manuscripts were carefully peer reviewed to encourage contributors to produce quality papers.
This inaugural issue was put together with the support of TETFund, the commitment from Editors and Editorial Board members as well as the contributors. This first issue would not have seen the light of the day without the financial support given by TETFund.
We especially thank TETFund and the contributors for the trust. We expect well researched papers in the second edition.
